GOLF: GET IN THE GAME!
Columbus State ’s golf team has a tradition of excellence, including several national title wins, and you can be a part of it!

The Cougar Golf Team fought a tight battle for the conference title, coming down to the last 18 holes of the year’s competition to beat second place Owens CC by two tournament points. They are now qualified to compete in the NJCAA Division II Region 12 Golf Tournament, May 9-11 at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek, Mich.
At the OCCAC tournament, Cougar golfer Jay Dalgarn was Medalist Runner-Up and named to the All Tournament First Team. Dan Martina came in third place and was also named to the First Team. Columbus State golfer Paul Farler made the All League Second Team with eighth place.
Get in the Game
All home matches are free and open to students. And going out for the team can pay dividends – many of our players are recruited to four-year colleges. Even better, the golf team offers full scholarships as a member of NJCAA Div. II.
