What is the Student Ambassador Leadership Program?
SALP is an elite group of students chosen to participate in a leadership enhancement program at the Columbus State Community College.

Program Benefits
Gain experience.
• Enhance your leadership abilities through the Student Ambassador Program in weekly leadership meetings.
• Increase your communication skills leadership campus and community workshops.
• Participate in outreach programs that encompass community and campus events and interactions.
• Complete a minimum of 130 hours of service between Summer 10 and Spring 11 quarters earning a rate of $8.94 per hour

Ambassador Requirements
• Candidate must have at least two quarters of attendance before applying
• Student Ambassadors must be enrolled in at least one class for each quarter
• Candidates and student ambassadors must maintain a 2.7 GPA
• Attend and participate in the required activities of:

o Weekly Training Sessions
o New Student Orientations
o Community Service Projects
o Leadership retreat and workshop
o Welcome Center Tours
o Student Activities and Student Ambassador Office Support
